We were honored for the country’s top dissertation in the field of propulsion in 20th International Conference of Iranian Aerospace Society (AERO 2022). Ali-Asghar Khosroabadi’s thesis with the topic of microfluidics multiphase Flows in micro-pumps won this rank. Congratulations Ali-Asghar!

Recently, we have focused on new research topics of Noise Prediction, Aeroacoustics, and Heat Transfer. Our following works  have been recently accepted for publication in these areas:

(1) “Noise prediction around two-dimensional airfoils using an efficient theoretical algorithm” has been published in the Journal of Vibration and Sound.

(2) “Study on forcing schemes in thermal lattice Boltzmann method for simulation of natural convection flow problems” has been accepted for publication in Heat Transfer – Asian Research.
